Dimensions are included for the side pieces and the transom. The bottom piece is determined after the sides and transom are formed.

Also, dimensions are given for the spreaders to form the shape of the boat.

Save time with these plans rather than guessing dimensions from trial and error.

The plan's file size is 1.9 MB which is about half the file size of a .mp3 song file.

The Boat Build plan includes 8 pages and you can watch the build video for more detail.

In the 'Boat Build' Playlist on www.YoutTube.com/@TheGarageEngineer you can also see the rebuild of the 3 HP Evinrude motor that we use to power the Boat.

The Frontier Heritage Wallet | Hand-Stitched American West Replica | Modern 8-Card Capacity
$65.00

Old West Soul. Modern Daily Carry. The Frontier Heritage Wallet is a tribute to the rugged individualism of the American West, reimagined for the modern trail. We took the classic silhouette of a vintage western billfold—originally designed for saddlebags and silver dollars—and re-engineered the interior for today’s necessities.

Hand-Built in Georgia Every single wallet is cut, assembled, and stitched by hand right here in our workshop in Gainesville, Georgia. There are no sewing machines and no assembly lines—just skilled hands, sharp tools, and premium leather. We use a traditional saddle stitch, which is infinitely stronger than a machine lockstitch, ensuring your wallet won't unravel even after years of hard use.

Capacity Without Compromise While it looks vintage on the outside, the interior is pure utility. We’ve slimmed down the profile while maximizing storage.

  • 8 Dedicated Card Slots: Comfortably holds your credit cards, ID, and business cards without stacking them too deep.

  • Cash Pocket: Deep enough to keep bills flat and secure.

Why Trail 47? We are a small business dedicated to goods that outlast their owner. When you carry this wallet, you aren't just carrying leather; you are carrying a piece of Gainesville craftsmanship.

Features:

  • Hand-Stitched Durability: Crafted using the time-honored saddle stitch technique for superior strength.

  • Local Craftsmanship: Proudly made in Gainesville, GA.

  • Modern Layout: 8 card slots + large cash billfold.

  • Timeless Style: A replica of 19th-century western styling, refined for the 21st century.

Heavy-Duty Wooden Auto Ramps – Digital Plans Download
$5.00

The Safest, Easiest Way to Lift Your Car is to Drive It Up.

The Problem: Getting your car in the air for routine maintenance shouldn't feel like a gamble. Hydraulic jacks can fail, jack stands are a pain to position, and cheap plastic ramps often slide across the garage floor or crack under pressure. You need a solution that is rock-solid and ready in seconds.

The Solution: Build your own Solid Wood Service Ramps with plans from The Garage Engineer.

These digital blueprints guide you through building a set of heavy-duty, solid lumber ramps. Designed with a 6-inch rise, they provide the perfect clearance for oil changes, inspections, and detailing without the hassle of hydraulics.

Why These Plans?

  • Integrated Safety Stop: The design features a built-in "stop block" at the top of the ramp, giving you tactile feedback so you know exactly when to stop driving—preventing over-travel.

  • Material Efficiency: These plans are optimized for cost and simplicity. You only need one standard 2" x 12" x 12' board per ramp.

  • Wide Tire Platform: Utilizing 2x12 lumber means a wider surface area for your tires, providing superior stability compared to narrow 2x4 stack designs.

  • Instant Access: No pumping jacks. No crawling on the floor. Just place them, drive up, and get to work.
